“Lorraine is the best! I still sigh with happiness looking at the beautiful, serene surroundings she so thoughtfully created for us.”

Our brief for this project was to inject our clients brand-new home with their personality and style through new furnishings, paint and decor items. Our clients asked me to select new furniture, light fittings, rugs while incorporating some of their existing pieces. We repainted the generic white wall with a particular favourite paint colour in Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter - a perfect warm, classic shade.
For the front living area, we selected comfy accent chairs for sitting and conversation, a stylish ottoman and a grey rug which ties in the space. Our main focus in the family room was selecting sofas and a rug that were made from durable fabric and were flexible for a young family. We prioritised comfort in every detail and the result was a perfect blend of style and functionality.
We especially loved designing the children's playroom! Our colour inspiration for the scheme came from the sweet chevron grey and orange teepee. We purchased the generic shelving units and personalised them with bench cushions with piping details in complimentary colours and bright felt storage boxes for practical storage.
Several years later, despite the geographical distance my client again sought my advice for an e-Design to update her dining room now that her children were a little older and a little less messy! We came up with an moodboard and virtual shopping list for new dining chairs and a rug. Further paint colours for the house were also selected.
As a result our clients' home is stylish yet comfortable for their family and extended family that visit often.
