About Me

I’m Lorraine Newnham, an interior designer and decorator and the founder of LN Interiors based in Canberra, Australia. With many years of experience my designs are centred around you – your lifestyle, preferences and individual style. I completed my studies at the Canberra Institute of Technology and also worked on American homes during a 4 year stint in Washington DC. This international exposure instilled in me an understanding of classic and timeless design aesthetics.

My style is a true mixture of both modern and traditional styles. At LN Interiors I’m about creating spaces that reflect your lifestyle and the stage you are in right now.

My design motto is “a home should be unique and say something about the people who live there”. I love nothing more than mixing your existing pieces with newer ones and I particularly love pieces that have a story.

When I’m not designing for my wonderful clients, I’m a wife and mum of 3. Gardening, pilates and spending time with family and friends fill my cup. I have renovated our family home and I’m always tweaking! Trust me to breathe life into your spaces, infusing them with elegance, warmth and character, leaving you with a home that is not just beautiful but truly unique to you.
