This brief for this family home was to add colour and depth to their upcoming kitchen renovation as well as revamp their family room. Their style personality is timeless and classic with a modern touch. With four young boys in the mix, we knew the design needed to be robust. We decided on a subtly sophisticated stone benchtop and textured white tiles with white cabinetry and a dark grey island bench - undeniably, the star of the room. The pendant lights seamlessly tie together overall scheme.

The family room was revamped with a fresh coat of paint including the timbers on the ceiling which resulted in a light filled warm space. The brickwork behind the freestanding fireplace was also painted and a the existing brick platform was tiled over with new marble tiles - a subtle nod to the nearby kitchen.
